Another fairly windless day so after a picnic on the beach with Ann and Morgan and then a play in the playground. Anna went off for a sleep in the van and Morgan and I headed off to find part one of the multi-stage geocahce 'Flotsam & Jetsam'.

We approached from the wrong side really and the coordinates given were for the car park not the actual cache. On top of which I hadn't fully worked out the last clue so really we were stumbling around in the dark. It was a nice walk anyway and after descending a pretty steep path to the beach Morgan fell asleep so I was left to push him and his pushchair across the pebbly beach and then carry it up the bottom of a nother path before hauling him to the top of the path. It was at this point that my GPS unit was telling me we were in the right place to start the hunt for the cache, but there was no way I was going to clamber back down the path to the beach so we headed back to the van.

Once Anna was awake we did head back to Perwick Bay and approached from the right direction this time but still couldn't find the clue we were looking for.

Later that evening we looked up the answer to the final clue and all became clear... We planned to head back the next day to see if we could find it.
